Position Summary:
We are looking to hire a talented, eager, and skilled full-time remote Financial Analyst III to join our accounting team in Ireland. As a Financial Operations Analyst II, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of accounting information by verifying, recording, consolidating, and inputting transactions. Preparing and recording assets and revenue is a daily requirement. The Analyst II will report directly to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Process daily reimbursement expenses and other fee transactions
Reconcile daily activities and Account Balances in QuickBooks on a daily recurring basis
Records accounting information in a professional and detailed fashion. There are thousands of entries which will require the individual to stay focused for long durations.
Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliation of multiple balance sheet accounts
Analyze transaction data to determine adjustments, revisions, or updates are needed
Work with, and support internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues, answer inquiries, and provide solutions
Mentor the Jr. team, and provide best practices with procedural documentation as changes occur
Examine and analyze financial statements and accounting records to ensure they are accurate and comply with regulations
Provide data for internal and external reporting purposes
Prepare for audits by preparing and reviewing work documents; meet with external auditors and assist in expediting the process
Ad Hoc assignments as requested
Complies with legal and company policies
The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge:
BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience with QuickBooks
Minimum of 2-3 Years of experience within the industry
Strong working knowledge of Excel
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, and standards
Ability to work independently with strong focus
High attention to detail and accuracy
Highly task-oriented and organized with keen willingness to learn and accept new responsibilities
